How many serves of protein powder can I have in a day?

Protein intake varies from person to person depending upon their age, diet, workload, and training. 1-2 serves per day are usually adequate, or up to three servings per day as required.

American college of sports medicine recommends that a person that lifts weights regularly or is training for a running or cycling event eat a range of 1.2-1.7 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day, or 0.5 to 0.8 grams per pound of body weight.

To determine how much protein you should ideally consume, you first need to assess your individual requirements and how much protein you are currently getting from whole food sources such as meat, fish, dairy, nuts and so on.
