Amino acids, often referred to as the building blocks of proteins, are compounds that play many critical roles in our body. our body needs 20 different amino acids to grow and function properly. Out of those 20, 11 are classified as non-essential as our body is capable of making them and 9 are classified as essential meaning our body is incapable of making them and they must be supplied through diet
